300 lb. capacity rollator

i chose Medline because i saw someone who had one and it looked high quality. i was looking for one for my mother and i wanted something very good to express my great appreciation to her of all she has done for me. i bought the 300 lb. capacity Empower Rollator costing $244 instead of a cheaper model thinking i was showing greater appreciation. it arrived promptly and assembled easily. i was especially pleased with the brake locking mechanism which other brands do not have. it is a very good product. unfortunately, it was too big and heavy for my 134 lb. 90 year-old mother. i am now trying to return it. buying online is a convenience but returns are not. i will keep you posted on my progress. i wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Will the rolator stand on its own when folded? How?

Unfortunately, the Medline Empower Rollator does not stand on its own when folded.

How it Folds: The Empower Rollator is designed to fold completely flat for maximum compactness and ease of storage or transport (like putting it in a car trunk). You fold it by pushing the handle bar folding mechanisms, aligning the handles, and lifting the large center handle.

Because it collapses to a flat profile rather than remaining in a standing position, it will need to be leaned against a wall or laid down once folded.
