I fell in love

I have fallen in love with my Medline gripper tool. It’s simple to use and lightweight. You’ve got to try this. I do have a question for Medline. There is a feature on the tool that the cord for tension,can be adjusted. I don’t know how to do that. Could you write under my review where I can find information how to do the adjustment myself?

How to Adjust Cord Tension
Locate the Cord Retainer: At the end of the grip handle (opposite the claw/jaw), you should find a small cap or housing where the tension cord enters the handle. This acts as the cord retainer.

Access the Knot: Carefully slide the cap/housing back, or gently remove the retainer to expose the end of the cord, which is usually tied in a knot.

Adjust Tension:

To Increase Tension (make the jaws grip tighter): Pull the cord a small amount through the handle and retie the knot closer to the cord entrance. This shortens the functional length of the cord.

To Decrease Tension (make the jaws looser/easier to squeeze): Undo the knot, allow a small amount of cord to feed back into the handle (lengthening the functional cord), and retie the knot further from the cord entrance.

Secure the Cord: Replace the cap or slide the retainer back into place to secure the new knot location.

My third hand

I was in two accidents within a two year time frame. Left me a bit banged up. A nurse gave me a Gripper, and I don't know what I would do without it. I can pick up the remote, wipes and a towel with no hassle. It's strong, and durable, just dint roll o er on it. Not for cans, a weight or heavy items. Just small stuff and it grips just fine, depending on your hand abilities.

My third hand.

I was in two accidents within a two year time frame. A hinge nurse gave me the first Gripper and I've been more functional since. Such a convince to have. It truly is my third arm. I doubt have to work m worry about tweaking my back because of the Gripper. Holds, grips and is durable. Not for heavy items. Paddles, the comb, a sock or shirt is okay.

Great tool whether handicapped or not

My husband has partial left arm paralysis and uses his Reacher with many tasks. He can pick up tiny bits of paper, dropped pills, keys, etc. He also uses it to help get his shoes on. After two years of constant use, he wore out his first one and this one is to replace it. I have back issues and use the Reacher to keep from bending to pick up items from floor. We highly recommend this tool.
