How do u know what size to get

Hi Pat! To find the correct size for the Medline Knee Support , you need to measure the circumference of your knee while standing. Use a flexible measuring tape and wrap it directly around the center of your kneecap (the mid-patella) with your leg slightly bent. It is important to measure while weight-bearing, as your knee dimensions can change when you are sitting versus standing.

Once you have your measurement, match it to the corresponding size:

Small (13"–14"),
Medium (14"–15"),
Large (15"–16"),
Extra Large (16"–18"),
2X-Large (18"–22").

If your measurement falls exactly between two sizes, the general rule is to size up for a more comfortable fit or size down if you require very firm compression for medical reasons.

Keep in mind that this specific model is approximately 10.25 inches in total length. When choosing your size, ensure that the measurement is snug but not constricting, as the neoprene material is designed to provide therapeutic warmth and compression without cutting off circulation.
